what colour are my eyes?
because I never know what to call them. they're just sort of generically dark?
my partner affectionately calls them "swamp eyes" and my grandmother called them "pissholes in the snow"
both my parents have light blue eyes so I'm also a genetic aberration, which is fun!

almost like mine. My ID says "grey-green" (german, there's no "hazel" in german ID cards).
Wiki says, the chances for you to have green eyes is ~1% - if there's no "family secret"...

It used to be a sort of joke in my family that I was actually the milkman's kid (I was also the only redhead in the immediate family) but the thing is, I look SO MUCH like my parents that it was always obviously a joke 😆 no family secret here, I just got all the weird recessive genes.
