It occurred to me that many of my followers are probably German hackers, but might have never heard about _the_ German Hacker.

That's him.

His name is German Hacker, but he's not a hacker; he's the mayor of the Bavarian city of Herzogenaurach (where both Adidas and Puma have their headquarters). He's in office since 2008.

Check out his website german-hacker.de for some 2000s-era nostalgia.

"German" is a legitimate, though rare and somewhat quaint, first name in Germany.

Sasha Göbbels 🐿️ hat dies geteilt.

I must ask: Was the suit tailored to match the length of the chain or was the chain length adapted to suit the suit?

(Also, of course his name isn't pronounced like the two English words, but more something like "GAIR-munn HUCKer".)

Really nostalgic, but not unlikeable, although I might have a bias giving SPD mayors some benefit of the doubt.

Also, is that website edited manually/statically?!? Don't all modern and half-modern CMSs leave their marks in the headers (and won't use framesets anymore)?

@HeptaSean given that he gave HTML courses in my school in the 2000s before becoming major, it probably is 😉

@mxk @HeptaSean We should be accurate here: He is not _a_ German Hacker, he just is German Hacker ;-)
(With a high probability, that he is really the only person with this name)

I clicked on the picture before reading the text, and I did recognize the face (but couldn't put my finger on who it is).

You can tell he's ultra professional because he doesn't welcome people to his site. He welcomes them to his internet site.
