I quite literally see the boost button as greyed out when there's no alt text

Like, the ui looks the same, but my brain just reinterpreted the "no alt text" exclamation mark of my fedi client as "boost button disabled" lol

Hey DTC I can understand how the alt text culture around here might feel a bit wild, especially when you make these great comics with like sixteen panes and tons of text. Yeah, writing the text for those is a lot of work.

But also when you add that text you unlock a massive new audience. I was a bit perplexed years ago but now it's one of my favorite things about "fedi culture"
