Maybe I will, change in FF (Frankfurt Main Central) instead of FFLF (Frankfurt Main Airport) and go for ICE 810?
), and be somewhat sure it'll depart on time (should arrive there (from the previous journey) in less then half an hour).
I'd have ~30 minutes there, maybe can nom something, trade ICE 4 for ICE 3neo (
I'd still be an hour later than planned, but not two (like the alternatives)!

oh, neat … time for change is negative by now! Still have about an hour until we reach Frankfurt, so maybe things can still get better?
But at least I've got a backup plan!
( also: if in doubt, I could still change to the same new connection at FFLF … FF just is comfier — getting to pick a seat at the initial station and usually better options for obtaining some food )

Manchmal lag das bei mir daran, dass ich in der letzten Suche weirde Einstellungen hatte, die dann beachtet werden (z.B. längere Umstiegszeiten), aber auch wenn ich die entfernt habe, gab es oft nur Mist

@Larymir yipp … da fehlen Optionen. Es sucht auch nur ab dem nächsten Halt (Hanau) und lässt mich nicht FF oder FFLF wählen.
Inzwischen zeigt es eine brauchbare Alternative, aber mit überlanger Umstiegszeit in FFLF und dafür ~9min in Köln, statt ~13min bei meiner. Was schon unnötig riskant ist! (Zumal aus München.)
Irgendwie war diese Funktion für mich noch nie so wirklich hilfreich … ja, sie liefert, in der Regel, grob passende Vorschläge, aber bessere findet eins meist selbst.
