I have been researching the first iteration of the #DataRescue movement under Trump v.1 for quite some time now as part of my PhD research.
I did not anticipate that in the middle of my data collection the same (and probably worse) would happen again under Trump v.2.

I’m surprised how long it took to make this connection. But I won’t be surprised if big media ignores it.

Last year I was hacking on Tcl interpreters (because _reasons_), and I realized I never actually posted one of them. So here's wartcl.
wartcl is a very small Tcl-like language inspired by (and more or less compatible with) partcl, but significantly faster and smaller.
It's also shorter, more heavily commented, and entirely written in safe Rust.
I used this for an in-system manufacturing test prototype on a 16 kiB micro, but then personal stuff came up and I lost the plot.

die journalist*innen haben sich nur abewöhnt, hinzuschauen, weil die demos irgendwann aufgehört haben, politische wirkung zu entfalten. und was keine politische wirkung hat, wird auch politisches signal nicht mehr ernst genommen, usw.
