No qualified judge can argue with the wording of international law, and the fact a number of international independent bodies have labelled this genocide. If anything else a judge in a lower court may not have the power to judge and needs to hand to a higher court.

I realised something this afternoon, in talking with a friend.
I have reached my limit of cis people telling me how to be trans. Or not to be trans. Or choosing what we're called. Or really having any kind of control over our lives at all, for any reason. I don't care if they're professional sexologists, or transvestigators, or whatever they're going to call cis people who colonise our space academically. Or doctors, or politicians, or anyone else, ever.
I'm done. Cis people, there's a bunch of ya I love, but I swear, the next cis person who tells me how to do trans is probably going to soon regret it, when the sharp side of my tongue has finished tearing them various new orifices, metaphorically speaking.
We get to choose what we call ourselves. Be it trans, nonbinary, hijra, two-spirit, travesti, ladyboy (kathoey), whatever someone identifies as. If they feel they have a claim on that label, it's no one else's place to tell them they haven't. Least of all cis people.

Chuck is doing all right - not 100% by any means, but he’s not hurting. Still getting meds and critical care (you can see the stains of it on his fur; he’s a spicy sausage when it comes to being syringe fed). Hopefully his appetite comes fully back soon (he’s eating, but not a ton) and, most importantly, he starts drinking water on his own and doing some good pee-pees.
Also need to get him & Matilda to make up; not back to normal there yet.

@cazabon Not always, no - they've had dominance struggles after separation before, but only once before have they been properly kung-fu fighting like they are now, and that was after being separated for nearly a week... this latest one was about 12 hours.
I honestly don't know if it's the vet smells or if Matilda just wants to re-negotiate their relationship, or what... but all we can do is be patient for now. :-\
Bunnies are complicated! I’ve had pairs where if one rabbit is feeling poorly, the other one will get mad because the sick bun is slacking off on guard duty.
I try to explain that we humans will be extra vigilant. And give extra treats. Which is why we are now struggling to get Bramble to be a little less majestic.

Aber vielleicht hat man sich auch an das untere Mittelmaß gewöhnt.

Heute ging ein Interview mit mir online, das ich vor dem Posten selbst noch mal gelesen habe. Irgendwie ist es ziemlich passend, angesichts dessen, was ich darin preisgebe, dass es im Disability-Pride-Monat erschienen ist.
Ich erhoffe mir davon nicht nur Sichtbarkeit für mich (die ist ein schöner Nebeneffekt), sondern vor allem, dass Leute vielfältige Zugänge zum Schreiben und Veröffentlichen sehen.
Es gibt viele Wege zum Buch - und sehr unterschiedliche Bücher.
