Okay. Die Cannabisblüten sind per Sous-Vide-Methode fertig decarboxyliert. Ein paar Leute wollten ja auf dem Laufenden gehalten werden. Sehr gerne. Also:
Ich habe etwa 4 Gramm Blüten zerkleinert und in den Plastikbeutel gegeben, und zwar in das unter Drittel, flach verteilt. Der Beutel wurde verschlossen und die Luft per Vakuumpumpe entfernt. Ich nahm einen großen Topf, befüllte ihn mit heißem, aber nicht kochendem Wasser, befestigte den Sous-Vide-Stab und stellte die Temperatur auf 95 Grad ein und den Timer auf 60 Minuten. Als die 95 Grad erreicht waren, fügte ich den Beutel hinzu und sicherte ihn gegen das Aufschwimmen mit einem kleinen Stein. Kein Geruch während des Vorgangs.
Nach einer Stunde holte ich den Beutel raus, ließ ihn abkühlen.

Die zerkleinerte Blütenmasse hatte sich, das war jetzt nicht so toll, an die Beutelwand geklebt. Klar, die Trichome wurden warm und klebrig. Mist. Ich musste also die gummiartige Blütenmasse vorsichtig mit einem stumpfen Messer vom Beutel kratzen.
Tja, das wars auch schon. Ob das Decarboxylieren tatsächlich geklappt hat, kann ich euch in ner Stunde oder so sagen. Ich habe gerade keine kleine Menge gegessen. Wenns wirkt, hats geklappt.
Bin ich begeistert? Hm. Weiß nicht. Immerhin stinkt das Haus jetzt nicht wie eine Drogenhöhle. Aber die gummiartige Blütenmasse finde ich jetzt nicht soooo toll. Sollte mir aber egal sein.
Nächster Versuch: Cannabisbutter mit dem Sous-Vide-Stab. Aber das dauert noch.

It both is and isn't a big deal. It isn't, in the sense that this sort of basic cooperation and mutual respect ought to be tablestakes.
But it also is a big deal, in that up until now, both CrowdStrike and Microsoft, and others, have said: we'll choose the names, everyone else in the industry ought to use our names. And now they're agreeing to play together, as it were.
From a technical point of view, yeah, the total investment is a shared spreadsheet. From a political point of view though, there's been a lot of growing up and a small serve of humble pie all round.

I stumbled across this comic today, and figured I'd give my 2 cents.
My usual advice is "Wear whatever the fuck you want. If you want to call yourself bi, call yourself bi. If you want to call yourself pan, call yourself pan. If sometimes you call yourself cis het, that's fine too."
I mean I call myself lesbian because about 90% of the people I'm attracted to are women or fem enbies. But also, hot people are hot, so I don't let myself get into some extitential crisis, I just wear the label I like to wear. 🤷♀️
And you don't really have to worry about "deserving" a label. Outside of toxic shitheads, nobody is going to sit you down and make a test to "prove" it. There's no "stolen valor" to saying "yeah I'm attracted to this set or that set of people".
Also, bi or pan, use whatever you want for that. Some people like one, some people like the other. Neither is "enbyphobic". At least half the bi people I know just picked it because they like the flag more.

So just a heads up for people who aren’t queer, this Pride eve; Pride is around the corner and it’s probably going to feel a little different than usual.
• Expect it to feel angrier. We joke that July is Wrath month, but don’t be surprised if people at Pride events are a bit more on edge, our signs punchier, and our jokes sharper.
• Allies: more than ever before, be aware that you are guests in a queer space. Many of us are going to need the space to feel safe and comfortable for us now, more than ever.
• We have a gay agenda (see the above quote), don’t try to distract from it with platitudes. With trans people under an organized, legislative attack and nearly 60% of Republicans being against same-sex marriage, none of us are safe this year.
• Let’s not do the “Pride events need to be family friendly”. They generally are, but our family is angry.
I indulge in my second puberty and ALSO can't make out a turning point where it started (I seem to be the same emotional weirdo since I can think back). And I massively enjoy it.
But what HAS changed is that I stand by my quirks. I don't suppress them as much as I did in the before time.
