I feel like every US tech corporation or personality sooner or later gravitates towards the "defense" (!) industry…

I don't know why, but I am surprised that has already happened. Although, right now trump is suggesting taking over Gaza and ethnically cleansing the location, removing the people there and putting them somewhere else.

Good lord... That man child, has brain damage and honestly, the only place he would be welcomed in a justice universe is actual hell.

Which btw, colbert's writers joked about the only place that the trump family would be welcomed would be hell with one of their digital shorts. It was how you say... amusing and accurate to the utter most perfect level if that's even possible. It had satan putting two thumbs up next to a sign that said hell.

I agree with Colbert on that. Trump is after all pure evil. But because he is so damn stupid I have trouble hating him. I guess because I don't know why anyone takes such a buffoon seriously when he is so damn fake? Pun intended. :)

@skedarwarrior Don’t forget, people laughed at Hitler too. You don’t have to be smart to be dangerous.

Hadn't known that. Was he as dumb as trump though? I find that hard to swallow if so.

When Google changed their motto from "Don't be evil" to "do the right thing":

@aral

1. Don't be evil.
2. Don't be evil if you can possibly help it.
3. There are only two acceptable ways to be evil.
4. Sorry, make that twenty-six.
5. Yes, we know we said we wouldn't be evil, but life is complex.

reminds of aerospace companies working in both consumer and military markets, military market is more stable even during economy downturns which can bring stability.

@Saltssaltgirl I understand people not trusting Microsoft. I understand people not trusting Apple. I do NOT understand people not trusting Microsoft and Apple but still trusting Google. And that’s been true for years.

People who feel like Google is “the good one” are remembering a Google that hasn’t existed for well over a decade (and was largely mythical even then).
