Well the kid is not growing fast enough. Maybe taller shoes or stilts are the way to go.

We can obviously not build smaller cars because our core identity. So stilts is the way to go.

A four panel comic by cartoonist Jen Sorensen titled "Height of Folly", about the growing size of trucks and suvs. Panel 1 shows ten kids sitting under a drawn sight line in front of an SUV. The text reads: "A recent consumer reports study found that ten children fit into the front end blind zone of an F-150 pickup - deadly frontover accidents have more than doubled since 2008" Panel 2 shows a small child on stilts and a baby crawling on four stilts on either side of an SUV seen from the front. The text is: "Obviously we need taller children. It's time for stilts" Panel 3: "Adult pedestrians should also meet height requirements". The drawing shows a woman crossing a pedestrian crossing in front of an SUV. Her head is barely below the radiator. A policeman is standing on stilts in front of her, saying: "Ma'am, I'm going to have to cite you for shortwalking" Panel 4: "As the trucks grow ever higher, we must rise to meet them!" The drawing shows two men facing each other. They are shown standing on stilts. Only the top of the stilts is shown, and only the sky is seen in the background.
