From my reading of the source, the library doesn't attempt to fetch robots.txt, and nor does it alter the user agent string in any way. This makes Mellowtel just another fucking scraper completely avoiding the issue of site owner consent.

@futzle Looking at the writeup, it loads pages in an <iframe sandbox=""> element, so the most restrictive mode:

There's limits to what you can do, since JS is disabled. Normally you could use "Content-Security-Policy: frame-ancestors 'none';", but they're stripping that from pages.
It might be possible to serve up an interstitial page with a strict Content-Security-Policy and see if it violates that (e.g. say the page can't have images, and then embed an image). Combine with a <meta> refresh, and you could block clients that requested the image.

About an hour north of my house, on Mt Tamalpais in Marin County, is a well-documented ridgeline. Car companies have filmed commercials there, and every local landscape photographer has taken photos similar to those below. It's also popular with road cyclists. Saturday night it was equally popular with photographers and high school stoners (there may be a direct line there).
July, hot weather, Saturday night and fog. A great night to be out.
