Fondly remembering back in 1991 when ABC Australia thought that The [sic] Red Dwarf was a serial suitable for the artsy Sunday Afternoon magazine programme.
My father was watching it and pulled me over: you’ll want to see this. He’s seldom right but this was one such occasion. It was a surreal moment on top of a surreal moment.
Red Dwarf was better without a laugh track IMHO.

Somehow I managed to read the novelisation before saw the first series. I bought it mainly on the strength of its very Hitchhiker's-esque cover. So the way I read it did not prepare me for the TV series, which turned out to be closer (at that early stage, certainly) to the Young Ones than Hitchhiker's.
This is a reminder that being nonbinary is not bad in any way. It's just as natural as brown eyes, shortness, strength, red hair, or being a woman or a man.
Being nonbinary is a natural expression of human diversity, and has all the goodness and beauty that entails.

I love Godot’s [A game dev environment] user interface: It interacts cleverly with code (@export) and allows to explore what can be done. However, also gives access to what can be done (like the professional tool it is) and that can be overwhelming. For learning sometimes, I wish it would just be an code editor (no, not suggesting "beginner interfaces" or the like, that usually backfires)
