Honestly, I'd much prefer my ISP-provided modem were more like the (sometimes) boring enterprise gear, 'cause that could at least be shoved away, mounted, or hidden a number of ways.
I really don't like that vendors try to design those things as if they're supposed to be some kind of sightly showpiece in a home.

@dankeykang this is replacing cox's modem because the piece of shit they sent me had an integrated wifi network and NAT that could not be disabled and offered no way to just pass through the network connection.
