Today I felt fine when I woke up, and then about 2.5 hours after I woke up I crashed completely. Felt close to passing out while standing and while lying down at first, then managed to get some food and that helped a bit, but I still could barely get off the sofa all day. In the evening Avery rescued me by coming over to cook me some food. At one point I was so tired that I couldn't even hold my phone up to distract myself with social media stuff.
I have no idea why it happened. It just does, from time to time. I have a trip tomorrow (on the train, to a medical appointment) and I'm nervous that I won't be well enough to go.
I guess I'll attribute this to the CFS, but I honestly don't know that that's what is going on. It's totally outside of my knowledge and control, and all I can do is wait for it to go away. Disability is very weird.
Back in the day, Facebook made an overengineered database and named it Cassandra. It was so terrible they immediately abandoned it and gave it to the Apache Foundation, where software goes to die.
Every once in a while someone finds new awful security flaws in it and the Apache beaurocrats busily issue security notifications and try to fix the bugs etc
