A small, friendly reminder:
Injectable hormones are suspended in ~~castor oil~~ a carrier oil. ~~Castor oil~~ Carrier oils are really good at keeping those hormones dissolved.
But ~~castor oil~~ carrier oils go rancid over the course of a few years, depending on what type they are. Faster if you don't keep it in a dark place. And rancid ~~castor oil~~ carrier oils don't work properly, and can even hurt you.
So, please keep an eye on the expiration date of any vial of hormones you have or get, and discard anything past its expiration date promptly.
Because you can't tell if ~~castor oil~~ carrier oils have gone rancid by sight. Only smell or texture.
And you can't smell or feel it in a sealed vial.
Edit: I was not entirely correct here--injectable hormones use a variety of oils, some of which are longer-lived than castor.
That being said, the core point remains: Please take the expiration dates on your injectable hormones seriously, especially if you have other comorbidities that can interact with injections.

Ich suche nach dem Gegenteil von Doomscrolling. Mir geht es bei der (fast) täglichen Lektüre meiner Fediverse-Timeline nämlich so, dass ich mich von einer amüsanten Geschichte zum nächsten interessanten Fakt hangele - alles Sachen, die die Lebensfreude beflügeln und die Stimmung heben.
Offensichtlich folge ich einer guten Mischung von postenden Mitmenschen. Natürlich sind auch nichtige oder ein paar langweilige Beiträge dazwischen. Aber dass mich etwas komplett herunterzieht, gar den Wunsch nach mehr Seelenpein auslöst: Nix da.
Also welcher Begriff bezeichnet dieses Gegenteil von Doomscrolling?
Auch ich will keine fremdbestimmte Auswahl (Algorithmus). Aber die Möglichkeit, selbstbestimmt eine Umsortierung meines Lesktüreangebtes machen zu können, wäre eine Verbesserung.

I want to get a cross trainer that I can run on during presentations and such.
Why cross trainer? It seems similar to hiking (with poles) or back-country skiing. And because I remember enjoying it more than other machines when I went to the gym years ago. Also better for the knees apparently.
Are there perhaps people here that can recommend a good machine or brand? Price range 500€ – 1000€.

However, I believe the effects of using markov chain generated text to poison their data is rather limited. I guess that instead of using all available data, the respective companies apply some pre-filtering such as deduplication or some text quality prediction classifiers. The latter don't need to be perfect though. It's just a matter of "increasing quality"
