Here’s it in action - when people on my Mastodon server click links to my blog, I can see they’re from Mastodon. Other publishers can too. It will drive the importance of Mastodon as a platform. Almost all my traffic is under “direct”, which I strongly suspect is Mastodon servers without the feature enabled.

I find myself curious about the use of "girls" so much more than "women."
Do those words have different connotations to trans women than they do to the cis women I mostly grew up around? At least in my generation there was a sort of effort to call ourselves "women" for feminist reasons, except for terms like "girls night", etc.
Since none of those words fully resonated with me, I haven't got much to compare it to.
And I wanted to know from trans women, what it feels like calling yourselves "girls" vs. "women", socially.
If this question makes sense?
To compare it to trans masc people, we don't seem to use "boys" colloquially near as much, and "men" feels Really Serious.
None of this is supposed to be about ageism, everybody should use whatever word.
I was mainly wondering if "girls", as a word, has an extra dimension in trans femme usage.

Just ended a 10 year friendship because they don't want to get angry about "the news" and "both sides" have screwed things up. Also has become antivax and says she would not vaccinate her children now if she had a choice. And finally, is very very resentful of Covid and the pandemic shutting down her life.

Für mich wäre es unvorstellbar, die gegenwärtig nationalistisch geführten Staaten im Westbalkan der #EU beitreten zu lassen, so gerne ich diese Regionen mag. Solange es keine wirkliche Aussöhnung gibt, wäre das auch ein großer Instabilitätsfaktor.
Die Europäische Union ist dazu gerufen, sich vermehrt zu engagieren, Gesprächsforen zu schaffen und den Menschen Perspektiven zu schaffen.
