Ich habe inzwischen eine kleine Korrekturstimme im meinem Kopf. Die stoppt mich bei Rechtfertigungen, zeigt mir das Verhalten anderer Menschen auf und ganz oft sagt sie auch einfach nur: "Das ist nicht dein Problem!"
Und wenn ich mich dann ignorant fühle, zuckt die Stimme mit den Schultern, pafft ihre Zigarre und betrachtet entspannt den Sternenhimmel.
Die innere Korrekturstimme hat gestresst die Zigarre beiseite gelegt und hält mir einen Vortrag bzgl. meiner Grundhaltung: zu wenig selbstbewusst, sagt sie. Zu was-wäre-wenn-lastig, sagt sie.
Jetzt ist sie fluchend auf den Dachboden und sucht nach meinem Rückgrat und dem inneren Mittelfinger

not even just porn... any website that is overseas and doesn't want to comply and for whom the UK is not a large "market" can comply the easiest by simply applying a UK geoblock.

Why should my German site comply with any UK rulings? Tough luck getting me to attend to any UK court, they aren't part of the EU and hence can copulate with their knee.
@bastetfurry the law is shit, but countries with reciprocal extradition agreements in place will do so if an equivalent law is on the books in both countries. "equivalent" here has a very loose definition and isn't worth arguing about if you're not a lawyer who argues it. the online safety act creates personal liability for the officers of a company that isn't compliant, and so this breaks things like using a limited company to act as a shield.
the most trivial way to de-risk all this bullshit is to geoblock the UK... I say that as a UK user who will be inconvenienced by a geoblockade and yet find it the only reasonable reaction that those who run services throughout the US and Europe should take... as those are the countries with the most reciprocal agreements with the UK,
it is all crap, but since we're at the point of "this is the law, now we're moving to how to enforce"... just block the UK and be done with it.

This does _not_ mean that all Christians in the world are terrible people. Just most US Christians who vote.
So while it's kind of understandable to be wary of most US Christians, it's not fair to Christians in other places to lump them all in together. Christians in Denmark, for example, did not get a vote in the US election and generally don't support Trump. He and his policies only have majority Christian support in *one* country. And while he did win more than 50% of the Christian vote in the US, a large minority voted for his opponent. And, again, the opposition was just flailing.
