Ich dachte bei der Union hätten 12 Abgeordnete dagegen gestimmt, aber in Wahrheit haben einfach 12 Abgeordnete nicht an der Abstimmung teilgenommen. Hm. Als so richtig Aufrechte würde ich die dann allerdings nicht zählen.
Am meisten war wohl bei der FDP los: 2 Nein-Stimmen, 5 Enthaltungen und 16 Abgeordnete haben nicht an der Abstimmung teilgenommen.
Aber wisst Ihr, auf wen immer Verlass ist? Auf Stefan Seidler vom SSW. Der ist der eine Aufrechte unter den Fraktionslosen.
Und er zeigt, dass man als Einzelperson im Bundestag einen Unterschied machen kann, wenn man sein Mandat ernst nimmt. Ein korrekter Typ einfach.

If you live in a blue state in the U.S., please seriously consider whether you can host a trans person fleeing a red state, while they look for work and a place to live.
Do you have a spare room? A spare couch? Do you know anyone in your area who does?
Out of all moving expenses, housing in the new place is the BIG one. It's the sticking point. Especially for a move that has to happen on short notice.
If your trans friends in red states knew they could leave, because their friends in blue states proactively reached out to them (on here or elsewhere) and offered a couch, it could save people from despair. Just knowing they had an option.
Cis friends, and anyone else in blue states:
If you do have a bedroom, or money, or any job leads -- any resources at all -- please don't be afraid to stick your neck out and proactively reach out to your American trans friends and colleagues. On here, or on other platforms.
Don't wait for them to ask for help. Now is the time.
They may be panicked and not sure what to even do first. Knowing someone is even thinking of their safety can untangle a mental traffic-jam.
The conversation might feel awkward, even unsatisfying, if they haven't thought of themselves as in need yet and decline your help. Please don't let that possibility put you off. It remains the loving thing to do.
