I've heard that from Feb 1st, PayPal is changing the information it shows to people receiving money from you.
To make sure you're not unwittingly handing out your personal info, have a check of your PayPal settings. The website is different per country, but it seems you can find this setting from Invoices, clicking 'business info' or ''more actions > edit business details', and then change what's shown to recipients, and also via this link :

I need to start a personal written-down "brands to avoid" list, so I can put Chuwi on there. I've had two Chuwi devices (a Herobox, and a Minibook), and both have had fundamental flaws that made them an unusable waste of money within about a month.
I still can't believe they released a laptop which:
1. as engineered, can't power on or charge up if the battery is flat, despite the power cable being in,
2. doesn't recognise replacement batteries are installed, so can power on with them but it will never charge them, and
3. when you look for advice on these very issues, it's always "let the battery run down and then it should be fine when you power it on". If you're very clever, you may have spotted a bit of a flaw with that...

Well, except for the CDU breaking that unity, yeah? To me, this parallels how the "sensible, reasonable, principled" mainstream Republican party — the "never-Trumpers" — fell into line.
Or, to put it another way, the thing about "at a table with 10 people and one Nazi, is there a word for the other people?" isn't a joke: it's a predictive formula.
@mattdm Oh yes, our parliament is fucked (not just CDU, also CSU, FDP, ... and while the others voted against, many of them still push fairly similar exclusive policies and FUD).
The "us" I was referring to was the people here, be it US citizens or Europeans or others. (Plus indeed, many on the streets.)

My feed reader used to be my safe haven from social media. Half of the feeds were writers and artists writing about what they do. The other half were generally software people writing about problems they were solving.
But now most of the creative side are in despair—being squeezed between rising authoritarianism and tech-inspired mismanagement of their industries—and the software side is just so much fucking nonsense.

In the old #ASCII days, you could change a letter between upper and lower case by XORing its character code with 0x20. Of course, if you tried this with anything that wasn't a letter, you'd get nonsense results.
If you try that with #Unicode code points, it sometimes works, and sometimes doesn't. But Unicode can deliver much more impressive nonsense when it doesn't.
A fun example I just found: the "lower-case" version of CAR is NO PEDESTRIANS.
