it would have a US cable because... people need to use it in the US? I bought a Chinese mini-PC with switching PS and US power cord, then moved from the former US to an EU country a few months later. I was going to be needing either a plug adapter or two cords at some point.
Oddly the mini-PC was more expensive on the Euro site in February and is now more expensive on the US site, but I'm sure boneheaded thuggish trade policy has no bearing on that.

Ich schreibe chronologisch - und brauche ewig für den Anfang. Den finde ich am schwierigsten und gleichzeitig muss der für mich stimmig sein, bevor ich weiterschreiben kann. Was nicht heißt, dass ich am Ende nicht doch nochmal den Anfang überarbeite. Und das Ende wiederum kenne ich, bevor ich beginne zu schreiben. Vielleicht nicht im Detail, aber worauf die Story zuläuft.
Uns fehlen noch 2.784 Euro. Stärke jetzt unseren Kampf für digitale Freiheitsrechte. Damit wir dranbleiben können, wo andere aufgegeben.
Ich unterstütze @netzpolitik_feed schon seit Jahren regelmäßig, und bin froh über deren Berichterstattung über Überwachnungstechnologie und IT Politik, die sonst unbemerkt bliebe, aber unser aller Leben Betrifft. I see lots of upset around this coming from younger generations. They don't like the term "dolls" because they're "not plastic," "not fake," "not toys," or also bc they're butch or not femme or whatever. So they get upset about the term.
But the thing is, it's not a slur and it's a community term. So it doesn't really work the same as someone saying they don't like being called certain slurs.
Like no, I'm not gonna call you something you don't wanna be called. But you don't get to take the word away from me either. I find it endearing.
(And then there's the whole black culture/history behind the word, so hearing white girls complain about it feels offensive in itself.)
I don’t know how to talk about Gaza. Not because I have nothing to say, but because what’s happening there has altered something in me so fundamentally, I’m not sure even the language I know fits anymore.
So much now feels inadequate or pointless. I don’t know how to relate to a world that permits this, and I don’t think the shift I feel is reversible, and maybe it shouldn’t be.
